1 day tooth whitening course for dental hygienists and dental therapists – Manchester

The course is delivered in line with the GDC Scope of Practice for dental hygienists and dental therapists and follows the European and UK legislation concerning tooth whitening products to ensure safe and appropriate tooth whitening is carried out by dental hygienists and dental therapists following a dentist’s prescription.

Theoretical aspects include working to a prescription, how tooth whitening works, managing sensitivity, home and in-surgery tooth whitening procedures and protocols.

The hands-on and interactive elements allow delegates the opportunity to practice techniques for applying gel to trays for home whitening treatment, isolation techniques for in-surgery tooth whitening procedures and designing a prescription specific to your practice.

Courses are non-bias and evidence based, and kindly supported by leading companies in the field of tooth whitening such as Optident and SDI.
